By accessing or using PhotoCatalog ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PhotoCatalog is a Windows desktop application that allows you to organize, tag, and search your personal photo collection. The App may optionally connect to Google Drive to browse your cloud-stored photos.

3. Free Software

PhotoCatalog is provided free of charge. You may support development through voluntary donations. Donations are not required to use any feature of the App and are non-refundable.

4. Google Services Integration

When you connect your Google Account, PhotoCatalog uses Google APIs solely to display your photos and folder structure. We request read-only access and do not modify, delete, or upload any files to your Google Drive.

Your use of Google services through PhotoCatalog is also subject to Google's Terms of Service.

5. Your Data and Privacy

PhotoCatalog processes your data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal photos or files to any server. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PhotoCatalog only for lawful purposes. You must not use the App to:

• Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
• Store or organize illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the App without permission
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

7. Intellectual Property

PhotoCatalog and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The App is provided for personal use only.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

PhotoCatalog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We are not responsible for any loss of data. We strongly recommend maintaining regular backups of your photos and data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of PhotoCatalog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using PhotoCatalog at any time by uninstalling the application. We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any of its features at any time without notice.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
